A Cleveland area competitive springboard diving team established in 1965 at the Berea High School pool.  The Berea Diving Club (BDC) is the oldest existing diving club in Northeast Ohio.  BDC is a certified member of the Amateur Athletic Union, the Ohio Diving League, and participates in United States Diving sponsored meets.

We currently offer flexible programs training springboard divers starting at the beginning level up to the age group national level.  In addition, we offer a program designed exclusively for the high school diver both in and out of their seasons.

BDC has two training sites and is equipped with a trampoline with overhead spotting rig, and instant video diver feedback system, and a sparging (air bubbling) machine right on deck to aid the divers development and maximize their potential.

Mission Statement

It is the goal of the Berea Diving Club to safely and properly teach and train competitive divers to realize their full talents and abilities.   Our mission is to accomplish this in a fun environment that fosters the development of a positive self-image.  Our desire is for the divers to develop friendships and habits that they will be able to take with them throughout the course of their lives.
